Lal Krishna Advani Hospitalized After Health Deterioration

Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi late Friday night after his health deteriorated. The 97-year-old leader is under the care of Dr. Vineet Suri from the Neurology Department, and his condition is reported to be stable.
Earlier, in June 2024, he was admitted to AIIMS, where he was treated under the supervision of Professor Dr. Amlesh Seth from the Urology Department due to a urinary infection. After treatment, his condition stabilized, and he was discharged from the hospital.
In March 2024, President Droupadi Murmu visited his residence to confer upon him the nation's highest civilian honor, the Bharat Ratna. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and other senior leaders were present on this occasion.
Lal Krishna Advani has made significant contributions to Indian politics. He served as the Home Minister from 1998 to 2004 and as the Deputy Prime Minister from 2002 to 2004. He is one of the founding members of the Bharatiya Janata Party and has played a crucial role in strengthening the party.
